- innovative, crazy and practical ideas
Part 2 - Selecting Ideas for Development

for 1 or 2 selected ideasUse of simple matrix such as in Extract 8 against 4 criteria specified in same notes in an:
- organised approach
- with reasons for their choice
- sketch and annotation convey enthusiasm
Part 3 - Preliminary Design Concept

Attainment of a design detailed to a level to progress to first model using 2 conventional approaches and at least one CPS technique to develop chosen idea containing the following:
- drawings and annotations giving feeling of object is real
- description moves beyond advantages to doubts and areas of further work
- suitable ideas-generating techniques to advance detail and whole idea
- have real benefits been obtained
